Short-handed showdown: Suns and Thunder both banged up before critical matchup

The Suns are getting ready to hit the road Friday night for a critical matchup against the Western Conference leading Oklahoma City Thunder, but both teams are going to be without several of their key players. Phoenix has been dealing with a number of injuries this season and is going to be without two of their big three, with both Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant sidelined. On top of that, both Grayson Allen and Jusuf Nurkic are listed as game-time decisions.

Incredibly, the Thunder are dealing with just as many key injuries though as well. OKC will be without four of their top 6 players, with Alex Caruso, Chet Holmgren, Jaylin Williams and Isaiah Hartenstein all sidelined. The injuries have hit their front court hard and have left them with limited options, resulting in them having a starting lineup last week where the tallest player was their starting point guard SGA at six foot six.
