Just before their first game in their existence tonight, the Valley Suns and Arizona’s Family formed a partnership to air every home game at Mullett Arena on Arizona’s Family Sports.

Here is what was said in a press release on the collaboration:

“Throughout the 2024-25 NBA G League season, Arizona’s Family Sports will air all 24 home games beginning with the home opener on Monday, Nov. 11 versus the Stockton Kings,” the release said. “All Valley Suns game broadcasts on Arizona’s Family Sports will also be available to stream on Suns Live, the exclusive streaming platform of the Phoenix Suns.”

Braiden Bell will be the play-by-play voice of the Valley Suns who has had experience providing the same commentary for Arizona State University, the Pac-12 Network, the National College Athletic Association (NCAA) and more.

With the Arizona Coyotes relocating to Utah at the end of the last NHL season, the Valley Suns moved in and will share Mullett Arena with ASU Athletics, mostly hockey and volleyball. Led by Collin Gillespie, Jalen Bridges and TyTy Washington Jr., they will look to guide the Valley Suns to a G League championship.

The Valley Suns will embark on a 48-game season tonight when they clash on the road against the Santa Cruz Warriors, the G League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors, at 8 p.m. MST.
