The Suns got their season started off with a big overtime win over the Clippers Wednesday night thanks to a number of big time performances. Fresh off leading team USA to an Olympic gold, Kevin Durant continued to look like one of the leagues best scorers as he poured in a team-high 25 points. Phoenix’s big-3 all played a significant role in the win, as Bradley Beal had 24 points and Devin Booker finished with 15 pts, with the trio combined to go 10/16 from three. Newly acquired point guard Tyus Jones also delivered as promised, finishing in double digits with 11 points, eight assists and not one turnover. The Suns will return to action on Friday night when they take on the Lakers.
