The Arizona Diamondbacks are inviting fans to lace up their running shoes for a great cause at the 11th annual Diamondbacks Race Against Cancer, presented by Dignity Health Cancer Institute. Set for Sunday, September 29, the 5K race will start and finish at Chase Field, winding through the heart of Downtown Phoenix. Fans can register now at dbacks.com/race.

Participants, whether individuals or businesses, are encouraged to form fundraising teams, with opportunities to win prizes. Registration is $50 until September 20, after which the fee increases to $60. Every participant will receive a race shirt, a drawstring bag, a finisher’s medal, chip timing for the 5K, and a voucher for an upper-level ticket to one of the D-backs’ final home games against the Padres, taking place from September 27-29.
More than likely, this series is going to have serious postseason implications as both teams fight for a National League Wild Card spot. So, you are not going to want to miss this opportunity.
For those unable to attend the race in person, a virtual race option is available through September 13. However, for the in-person event, participants must register by September 28, as no race-day registrations will be accepted.
