Christian Walker owns Dodger Stadium: A new home run king in LA

While Dodger Stadium is not considered a “hitter’s friendly” ballpark, ranking 23rd in a 2016 ESPN list due to its dimensions, altitude, and overall average runs scored, Diamondbacks’ slugger Christian Walker has established himself as the greatest modern-day hitter at the historic stadium in downtown LA.

With his two home runs in the Diamondbacks’ 12-4 win on Wednesday, Walker surpassed Cody Bellinger by hitting 16 home runs in his first 41 games at Dodger Stadium, setting a new record, according to Sarah Langs.
