At a special fan gathering, Merrill Kell is scheduled to interact with the D-backs community. Kelly will be a special guest at Guy Fieri’s DTPHX Kitchen + Bar Friday at the Diamondbacks Watch Party.

He was arguably the Diamondbacks‘ strongest arm in their rotation before his injury, posting a 2.19 ERA across four starts, lasting at least five innings in each.
Against the Phillies in last year’s NLCS, Kelly helped the Diamondbacks stay alive by tossing five innings while allowing one earned run in a Game 6 5-1 victory.
Kelly recently began a throwing program earlier this month as he continues his road back to the diamond.
This watch party on Friday offers an ideal setting for fans who do not have access to the game to enjoy the exclusive Apple TV+ broadcast. Fans will have the opportunity to witness the D-backs face off against the Phillies for the first time since their 2023 NLCS victory.
Happy Hour discounts on food and beverages are available at the event until 6:00 p.m. In addition, festivities will be hosted by Mike Bauer, the Diamondbacks’ in-game presenter. Attendees may expect raffle items during the game, such as tickets to future games, signed bats from Corbin Carroll and Ketel Marte, and other unique club memorabilia.
While the Phillies do currently hold the best record in baseball, the Diamondbacks have not lost a series in June yet. As they battle through injuries, the D-backs are tied for the final spot in the NL Wild Card race.
