Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out for today’s early matchup against the Suns (39-28).
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Antetokounmpo was originally listed as questionable with left hamstring tendinopathy, but coach Doc Rivers said he was expected to play in his pregame press conference, so this comes as a bit of a surprise. Antetokounmpo, who is third in the NBA in points per game at 30.8, had only missed three games this season.
Additionally, Rivers said Malik Beasley would likely play after being questionable with back spasms for Milwaukee (43-24), as he did MarJon Beauchamp who was also questionable with back spasms. Beasley is available, while Beauchamp is out.
Beasley, who missed last game with the injury, has started all 64 games he’s played in, averaging 11.4 points and 43.2% 3-point shooting.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Malik Beasley are likely available today, per Doc Rivers.

Beasley joins Khris Middleton back in the Bucks lineup, as Middleton was not on the injury report after missing every game since Feb. 6, the last time these two teams squared off, when he stepped on Kevin Durant’s foot.
Only Josh Okogie (lower abdominal strain) and Damion Lee (right meniscus surgery) are out for Phoenix.
The Suns will look to complete a series sweep to close out their four-game road trip today at 10 a.m. MST.
