Grayson Allen finished with 17 points and Bradley Beal had 15 for the Suns (39-28). Jusuf Nurkić recorded a double-double, netting 13 points and 21 rebounds in the victory.

Vasilije Micić led the Hornets (17-50) with 21 points. Grant Williams came off the bench for 20 points while Miles Bridges tacked on 17.

Kickstarting the game, the Suns went on a 10-2 run before the Hornets crafted a 12-0 stretch of their own. Phoenix was ahead 28-26 at the end of the first quarter.

From there though, the Suns slowly found themselves expanding their lead by playing as a collective unit and Charlotte suffering shooting woes.

The Hornets shot 18-for-48 (37.5%) and 2-for-22 (9.1%) from three in the first half. Though they did not have a scorer in double digits, Beal led Phoenix with nine points through two quarters.

To go up 92-67, Phoenix outscored Charlotte in the third quarter 37-22 thanks to Booker having 13 points. Booker scored just five in the first half before then.

As time was ticking down, the Hornets formulated a 20-5 run to begin the fourth quarter, with Brandon Miller pitching in with eight.

But with Charlotte so far behind, the damage Phoenix caused was too much as they held on to win 107-86. The Hornets concluded shooting 43-for-94 from the field and 6-for-37 (16.2%) from three. Phoenix outrebounded the Hornets 57-48.
