Gathering up the results, the Chiefs were the resounding favorites as the final votes totaled 8-2 in their favor. Players like Alex Kerfoot, Clayton Keller, Michael Kesselring, Travis Dermott and Barrett Hayton believed in Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City.
Lawson Crouse went with San Francisco before right at the tail end of the video, Nick Bjugstad (left) said “Niners.”
The Chiefs will strive for back-to-back Super Bowl victories and third in franchise history.
But standing in their way, Queen Creek native Brock Purdy and the 49ers chase for their sixth.
On CBS, the Super Bowl LIV rematch commences at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas at 4:30 p.m. MST.
