Frank Vogel’s Playful Jab at Grayson Allen Post-Suns Victory

In the locker room after the Suns’ win over the Bucks, head coach Frank Vogel shared a lighthearted moment with Grayson Allen, teasing him about facing his former team.

As the team gathered in a huddle, Vogel playfully remarked, “Grayson, you fell just shy of 43 points.”

Grayson was just shy of 43 against his former but we still got the dub!

Allen, who had played with the Bucks for the past two seasons, concluded the game with 8 points after attempting only 4 shots.

To provide context, Vogel’s jest stemmed from Bradley Beal’s remarkable performance a few nights earlier. On Sunday, Beal, facing his former team, the Washington Wizards, exploded for a season-high 43 points in the Suns’ victory.

While Allen may not have replicated Beal’s spectacular night against his former squad, the Suns clinched the win nonetheless. Phoenix has emerged victories in 11 of their last 14 games.
