White has proven to be capable of being a three-down back in the NFL. The 25-year-old accounted for 336 touches, 1,539 total yards, and nine total touchdowns in his 17 games this season.
This level of play helped Tampa Bay win the NFC South and host the Philadelphia Eagles in the wild-card round. The Bucs blew the reigning NFC champions out with a 32-9 home victory.

With this victory, Tampa Bay advances to the divisional round where they will travel to Detroit to face the No. 3 seed Lions.
This will be a tough road challenge but one that White and the Bucs are prepared for. Detroit has allowed the fewest yards to opposing running backs this season, making this a very difficult matchup for the former Sun Devil. He will attempt to be more involved in the passing game considering Detroit’s stout run defense.

It should excite Arizona State fans to see a former player thrive this late in the NFL season and have a real shot to compete for a Super Bowl.
