Jose Perez was the player of the game for the Sun Devils. He had 26 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block. Perez’s plus/minus was a +24.

Perez not only filled up the stat sheet but he was also very efficient. He shot 9/16 from the floor and 4/5 from three point range.

This was the fourth time this season that Perez has scored 20 or more points. The Sun Devils are 4-0 in those games.

The first game that Perez scored 20 or more in this season was against UMass Lowell. Arizona State found themselves down 31-22 at halftime but were able to comeback and win 71-69.

Perez scored 20 points and dished out four assists. He shot 7/9 from the floor and made his lone three point attempt.

Perez scored 24 points against Sam Houston in a game that the Sun Devils won, 78-61. The Bronx, New York native shot 9/13 from the floor and grabbed eight rebounds in that game.

The next time Perez scored 20 or more was against the SMU Mustangs. He scored 20 points and got most of his points from the free throw line. Perez made 12 of his 15 free throw attempts.

Arizona State’s success in games where Perez is looking for his offense is no coincidence. Perez being consistently aggressive may be the key to the Sun Devil’s season.
