Nick Mullens for the Minnesota Vikings led the league in passing yards for week 16 with 411 yards. The Vikings loss to the Detroit Lions. Mullens also threw four interceptions.

Of the teams who had quarterbacks who ranked in the top 16, nine of them won their games. Of the bottom 16 quarterbacks, only six won their games.

Murray’s Passing Interceptions

Kyler Murray did a great job of taking care of the football. He didn’t throw any interceptions. He was tied with 13 other quarterbacks with zero interceptions. Of the 14 quarterbacks who didn’t throw an interception, only four of those quarterbacks lost their games.

Murray played well enough to win but didn’t have the help around him to win. It starts with the defense not stopping the run. The fact that he had 230 passing yards with running back James Conner being the leading receiver shows his ability to make something out of nothing. Conner finished the game with 67 yards receiving.
