Kevin Durant Downgraded to Out vs. Warriors

Suns’ fans will have to wait at least another day for the debut of the team’s Big 3, as Kevin Durant was downgraded to out for tonight’s game vs. the Warriors.

Durant was originally listed as questionable for tonight’s game after suffering a left ankle sprain last Tuesday vs. the Lakers. He was limited in practice yesterday after missing Friday’s game vs. the Kings. This was the first time Durant was a participant in any manner since injuring himself.

Bradley Beal makes his return today after missing 19 of the Suns’ first 22 games with a low back strain. It will be the first time he plays with Devin Booker, but Durant will now not be apart of what could have been the game everyone was waiting for in the debut of the Big 3.

The Suns will also be without Grayson Allen (right groin strain) and Nassir Little (orbital fracture/concussion protocol). Allen was also limited in practice yesterday after missing the Kings’ game and his injury occurred last Tuesday vs. the Lakers. Little went down hard during the first quarter of Friday’s game and did not return due to being in concussion protocol. Little will wear a mask when he returns, coach Frank Vogel said Sunday.

Damion Lee also remains out after undergoing right meniscus surgery in the offseason.

Tonight marks the start of a back-to-back with tomorrow’s game coming against Durant’s former team in the Brooklyn Nets.

We will see if Durant is able to go then and if the Suns are just being cautious tonight.
