Perhaps a sign that James Conner will be activated to the 53-man roster in time for Sunday's game after returning to practice this week.

This comes after Jones made his first appearance as a Cardinal in the 27-0 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Nov. 5.
There, Jones ran for 2 yards on 3 carries while also having 2 receptions for 5 yards in Ohio.
However, it was announced yesterday that Conner would begin practice and there is a chance that he can return against the Atlanta Falcons on Nov. 12.
This isn’t the first time that Arizona has waived Jones.
On Oct. 19, the Cardinals made him available for any other team to pick him up.
But, no one claimed Jones and he re-signed with the Cardinals to their practice squad.
Possibly, Jones will return again to the practice squad in the valley as depth even with Conner coming back.
This is because rookie Emari Demercado (toe) is out injured and did not participate in practice today.
Still, Jones being on waivers could garner interest as his days in Glendale may be numbered.
How big of an impact is James Conner returning for the Cardinals?
