Eric Gordon did not participate in today’s open practice, standing along the sidelines the entire time.

When coach Frank Vogel was asked why afterwards, he said that Gordon is dealing with hip tightness and will also sit out tomorrow’s game.

Vogel added that Drew Eubanks will be back after sitting out last game with an ankle injury. Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal and Devin Booker are all expected to play as well, Vogel said yesterday.

Ish Wainright will be out once again as well with a right calf strain. Damion Lee continues to recover from a meniscus injury and surgery, so he will also be out.

As for who will rest, Vogel said he will make decisions on that front tomorrow. Josh Okogie and Grayson Allen rested against Portland Thursday, while Beal sat out as a precaution with lower back tightness.

Gordon was a huge positive in the Suns’ 122-111 victory over the Blazers on Thursday. He finished with 20 points (8-of-10 shooting), three rebounds and two assists in only 18 minutes played.

Now, Suns’ fans will have to wait until their regular season home opener on Oct. 28 against the Utah Jazz to watch the veteran guard play again at home.
