After missing the Suns’ first two preseason games with right hamstring tightness, new guard Jordan Goodwin finally got on the court for Phoenix Thursday.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!“It felt good just to be out there, putting that Suns jersey on for the first time,” Goodwin said.
Goodwin impressed against the Blazers showing off his pesky defensive skills and playmaking offensively. He finished with nine points, two assists and two steals in 14 minutes.
Just to note, Goodwin did play one game in the summer league after being acquired in the Bradley Beal deal this summer.
Coming over to Phoenix, Goodwin is soaking up everything he can from the team’s star players.
“I’m watching greatness every day, so I’d be dumb not to just pay attention and just follow them, get on their hip and do whatever they do,” Goodwin said about the Big 3.
He is looking forward to Monday’s preseason game, which will be the Suns’ final home game in the preseason.
I asked #Suns guard Jordan Goodwin what it has been like learning from the team’s Big 3
