In total, the Phoenix Suns received Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little, and Keon Johnson while trading away Deandre Ayton and rookie Toumani Camara.

This leaves only Devin Booker as the sole remaining player from the Suns’ 2021 roster, a team that achieved a remarkable 64 wins.

Deandre Ayton attended Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix during his high school days and later played college basketball at the University of Arizona. He has since been with the Suns for all five seasons of his NBA career after being drafted as the #1 overall pick in 2018.

So, of course, there is a bittersweet feeling for many Suns’ fans who have enjoyed watching Ayton throughout all his years in the valley.

Do you think Mat Ishbia and the Suns made the right choice by trading away Deandre Ayton?
