Then as the game changed the center position became devalued. Now the case can be made that the center position is just as important as it has ever been. Ayton may be ranked 13th but has the talent to be a top five center in this league. If he improves on the defensive end of the floor to go along with his offensive skills. There is no reason why Ayton can’t be a top five center.
