Ayton has been under scrutiny this offseason for his play over the past couple of seasons. Ayton has said that he wants to prove everyone wrong by changing the narrative about him.
"I can feel the whole world hating me… what I've been working on 5, 6 days a week… is just motivating myself to change the narrative of what people think about me. My goal this summer is to change the narrative."
