The Tatum, Texas product could have a big role even as a true freshman because of all the holes around him on the defensive line.

Fite is 6-foot-1, 297 pounds and has proven that he is already one of the strongest players on the team and can beat just about anybody at the point of attack.

He also played offensive lineman in high school. On defense, in 21 games combined his sophomore and junior year, Fite recorded for 94 tackles, 23 tackles-for-loss and eight sacks.

The three-star recruit de-committed from ASU following the dismissal of Herm Edwards and staff, but was one of the first recruits to re-commit under the new coaching staff.

Fite could be a name Sun Devil fans become quickly familiar with when the season starts.
