The Suns lost their first summer league game to the Milwaukee Bucks by a final score of 84-75 but this shouldn’t take away from how good second-round pick Toumani Camara played.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Camara finished with 20 points on 8-13 shooting to go along with 8 rebounds and a steal. Not bad for someone’s first live-action NBA game.

Camara came into the NBA as a 4-year starter that improved in every year he saw the court. He already had a good defensive game. Where he’s continuing to take strides is on offense, especially his three-point shooting.
He was 1-3 in this game beyond the arc which should ramp up even more in future summer league games this summer.

Another player that played well was new Suns acquisition Jordan Goodwin. Goodwin finished with 12 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals while looking like a veteran out there especially in the first half.
Unfortunately, Goodwin left the game with right knee soreness so his status for the next game is up in the air.
We’ll see how these young players develop over time. Outside of blowing a big lead in the 3rd quarter, it was a great first showing for the Suns’ summer league squad.
