Collison is a guy that knows Vogel’s system really well and brings a ton of experience at the point guard position. He’s played with Vogel at two different spots when he was on the Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Lakers.

He would be a guy that can teach the other young players as well as old vets the nuances of Vogel’s system. His fluidity and ability to play under screens and be aggressive on the defensive end would help the Suns a ton.
The Suns so far have had a fantastic offseason. If the Suns do indeed spend a flier on Collison, he could be a good vet mentor for players getting to know the system.
