Solomon was grabbed off waivers by the D-backs back in December after he did not play the entire 2022 season.

However, as a middle reliever this year, Solomon has not seen action since April 30th due to his poor performances out of the bullpen. In 13.1 innings, the 26-year-old holds a 12.15 ERA and has walked nearly twice as many batters as he has struck out.

Kristian Robinson, on the other hand, has not played since 2019 due to a 2020 arrest. Robinson once made an appearance on Baseball America’s Top 100 Prospect List as he quickly made noise in the minor leagues.

Nevertheless, at only 22 years old, Robinson has plenty of time left to find his way onto a major league roster and make a meaningful impact in the Diamondbacks lineup.
