Now this isn’t surprising since Booker modeled his game after the late Kobe Bryant and has even been compared to Kobe Bryant in the past.
However, he has stats to back up why he’s been unquestionably the best player in the playoffs so far this season. Before Game 4 on Thursday, he was the first and only player in NBA history since Michael Jordan to average 35+ PPG through their first 8 games in the playoffs.

After his 36 Point 14-18 shooting performance in game 4, Booker’s numbers look like video game numbers that you see on 2K.
Book is averaging 36.8 points on a 61.7 FG% and 71.1 TS% this postseason 🔥
This currently stands as the highest FG% AND the highest TS% ever by a player averaging 30+ points in a single postseason in @NBA history!

62% shooting and 71% true shooting is utter insanity and it’s levels that even his teammate Kevin Durant hasn’t reached in times during his career. We are witnessing the greatest Suns of all time and he’s only 26.
