The Phoenix Suns will be seeing a familiar face at tonight’s game 2 as they take on the Clippers. NBA official Scott Foster will be officiating the game and he has a bit of a history with the Suns and specifically Suns point guard Chris Paul.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Whenever Foster is officiating a game where Chris Paul is on the court, Paul’s record is 2-17 as a result and currently in Paul’s last 14 playoff games with Foster, he’s 0-14 going back to his time with the New Orleans Hornets.

Going back to 2021 in a Suns playoff loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, a frustrated Paul talked with reporters after the game in reference to Foster. All Paul said was “11 in a row” after another loss with Foster officiating at the time.
In many instances, it’s been an ongoing meme with NBA fans around the world whenever Paul plays a game with Foster officiating but it does bode a big deal when games are so lopsided one way every time a player plays a game a ref if officiating.
With this being a must-win game as well for the Suns, you can bet Suns fans are nervous going into this playoff matchup, especially after the way they played in Game 1.
The tip-off for tonight’s game is at 7 PM AZ time and it will be televised on TNT. Let’s see if the Suns can tie the series up and if Chris Paul can break the drought with Scott Foster officiating.
