Durant has only played three games for the Suns since his trade from the Brooklyn Nets a couple of months ago but he has made an impact in those three games.
The Suns as a whole when he has played are 3-0. He is averaging 26.7 PPG, 7.3 RPG, and 3.7 assists per game. He’s also a +15.3 in the plus-minus category.
Devin Booker has been playing incredible basketball. But he’s looked like a top 5 player with Durant next to him in the lineup. He’s averaging 36 PPG, 7.7 APG, and 5.3 RPG. When these two were on the floor together in that small of a sample size, they formed the best NBA duo in the league. It will be cool to see if that can get replicated again.
The Suns are currently 2-4 since Durant’s injury. It will be a big boost before playoffs start if they can be healthy and get valuable playing time on the court together.
