The Daulton Varsho trade took a lot of fans by surprise this off season. In return the got a young superstar in Gabriel Moreno and a proven vet in Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Both of which hit a home run in their first spring training game with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

“We Won The Trade”
It is still long from being known for sure who won the trade. It is also possible that both teams improve because of it. Varsho being one of the best young outfielders in the game gives Toronto youth and talent in the outfield.
While the Diamondbacks were in desperate need of veteran talent and a catcher. They ended up getting one of the best prospects at the catcher position in Moreno.
For both Gurriel and Moreno to homer in their first game in the desert is magnificent. It also adds to the hype of the trade. Diamondbacks have a lineup that can produce runs.
That is one thing no one can argue with.
