After 6 months of off-season talk, it is time for teams to strap up the cleats and get to work for the 2023 season. This year with no lockout or threat of games being canceled, every team can focus in on one thing, baseball. Spring Training is designed for teams to hit the season rolling.

Either in Phoenix, Arizona or down in Florida, teams are getting ready to start playing spring training games. Less than 72 hours until real life games are happening. The Diamondbacks are right there in the middle of it with the world of expectation and speculation as to how good this team will be.

Diamondbacks Got Better?

In every aspect that the Diamondbacks needed to get better in, they did just that. Bringing in a better left side of the infield, check; better catcher, check; figuring out what to do with all of those bodies in the outfield, check; bringing in some vets, check.

The only thing now is for this team to hunker down and gel. As the young bucks get better and the vets find their mid-season form, the rest will happen naturally.

This Arizona Diamondbacks team has the pieces to the puzzle already. If Ketel Marte, Christian Walker, and new member Evan Longoria can get rolling; I think it is only a matter of time before the youngsters follow.

Players like JJ McCarthy, Alek Thomas, and dubbed “The Fastest Man in Baseball” Corbin Carroll will be x factors. They will have time to find their groove, and once they do, the league will be on notice.
