The Suns will be without Cam Johnson for tonight’s game against the Boston Celtics as they’re still managing his knee injury that he suffered a couple of months ago according to PHNX Gerald Bourguet.

Since returning Johnson, has had his fair share of up and down performances. He’s been averaging 14 PPG, 4.4 RPG, and 1.1 APG while shooting 46% FG and 45% 3 PT. After a great start to his return to the court, he has had back-to-back games where he has scored less than 10 points.
The minute restriction has probably had a lot to do with it as he’s only averaged 25 minutes a game and hasn’t had a consistent flow when he can only play 4-5 minutes at a time each quarter.
Even still, Suns fans should not feel concerned with Johnson’s play as he’s been moving well and has played tremendous defense. This does come at an interesting time with the Kyrie Irving news but I don’t want to play that game as this is something that was probably going to happen regardless of that news.

Tip-off begins at 5:30 PM at TD Garden in Boston. Let’s see if the Suns can find a way to escape with a win.
