New Phoenix Suns coach Mike Budenholzer is excited to reunite with guard Grayson Allen, who he previously coached in Milwaukee from 2021 to 2023.

Allen played 138 games for Budenholzer's Bucks, starting in 131 of them, and was acquired just after the Bucks' 2021 NBA Finals win over the Suns.

Allen was traded to the Suns on September 27, 2023, in the Deandre Ayton/Damian Lillard trade, and had a career-best season with Phoenix.

In his first season with the Suns, Allen averaged 13.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game, leading the NBA in 3-point shooting percentage at 46.1%.

Allen signed a four-year, $70 million extension with the Suns on April 16, 2024, solidifying his place in Phoenix until the 2027-28 season.
